Gwen Keane, a native of the Northern Neck, holds a BA in Business Administration from Trinity
University and graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. where she
received her Masters’ Degree in Public Administration.
She retired as Deputy Inspector General from Naval Sea Systems Command and returned to the
Northern Neck where she now resides with her pets. She is on the board of the Northern Neck
Partners for Pets (NNPP), a non-profit organization that built and runs no kill shelter for the dogs and
cats in the Northern Neck of Virginia.
