What to Expect

Participants will learn how to craft a concise, thematically cohesive memoir (25,000 to 50,000 words) suitable for publication. The Four Phases of development include:
I. Foundation and Structure – We will guide you to define your story’s scope, identify the core lesson, and establish your story’s central theme. You’ll start writing immediately.
II. Drafting and Momentum – This phase will move you from summary to vivid scene creation, helping you to master the important craft of “showing, not telling.”
III. Revision and Polish – Now your stories are ready for revision through self-editing and peer review, ensuring a strong, engaging narrative throughout.
IV. Publication Readiness – Whether or not you decide to submit your memoir for publication, we will help you create a polished final manuscript and professional marketing materials.

This time, you will not be alone and floundering. Rather, you will receive expert guidance and peer support
from start to finish.

Dates: TBD Virtual Course on Zoom. Class size is limited to eight students.
Cost is $500, to be payable in two installments.
